Refined Crude oil Products

Crude oil consists of naturally occurring hydrocarbons that once refined become petrochemicals such as diesel, heating oil, jet fuel, gasoline, kerosene and so on. The name given to a crude oil depends on its contents and where it originates from. The unit weight is also taken into consideration.

Generally speaking, crude oil is that which has not been processed. It is found quite deep beneath the earth’s surface and can range in colour from black to clear as well as it can be available in solid or liquid form. The oil is stored in barrels once pumped from the beneath the earth’s surface and is later refined. During refining the oil undergoes specialised separation techniques, filtering and the inclusion of additives, which is used for creating other crude oils and crude oil products.
